Jodey Young

My name is Jodey Young, I'm 15 years old and started racing go-karts half way through the 2002 season. Having never raced before we had a good season finishing 18th out of 24 at the end of the season, in junior lite. At the end of last season we purchased a new CMP nikita chassis, but the last race of the year I was involved in my first accident, which bent the frame. That season I managed to finish in the top 10 and receive a trophy. This upcoming season I will continue to race junior lite with my straighten chassis. My plans for next season are to run the first half of the season in junior lite, and do some Rotax Max testing, with the hopes of running that class and traveling throughout Ontario and Quebec.
