As an import drag racer I was hired over the winter to drive a pro turbo civic hatchback for InlinePRO in Springfield, VA. I have been competitively racing for 4 full seasons now, but this is my big break. i was holding my own in the 'street' classes previously with my Isuzu Stylus (all motor, best ET 13.77). I am 26 and from Fairfax, VA and in my non-racing time I am a graphic designer (are we ever 'not racing'?). I have attended 2 major events so far this season, the first i qualified 2nd before it was rained out (IDRC East Coast Nationals at maple grove PA) and just this past weekend I held my own and qualified 7th at the first NHRA import event out here. best time to date is a 9.63@147mph. to date my only sponsor is the shop that built the car, InlinePRO, but now that I have run decent numbers hopefully some other companies will sponsor me.
