USAC Driver
As USAC’s top woman finisher in 2003, Samantha was
signed to drive a USAC Silver Crown pavement car in 2004
for Win Smith Racing Inc of Stanford KY. She will also
continue to drive for the legendary Kenyon family of
Lebanon IN in her USAC Ford Focus Midget in which she
recorded a 9th place finish in the 2003 series.
This is Samantha’s 14th year as a racing driver
starting at age 12. Starting out in enduro racing karts
she has recorded 2 national championships with speeds up
to 120 mph on famous tracks such as Daytona
International, Lowes Motor Speedway, Road America and
more.
Diverse racing cars on diverse venues distinguishes
Samantha from most drivers. Besides open wheel USAC
racing on both dirt and asphalt, Samantha has raced UMP
Modifieds on small dirt ovals, sports cars on road
courses and even tested in a NASCAR Nextel Cup car in
2004 as part of the NASCAR Drive For Diversity program,.
Samantha is a senior at Indiana University’ Kelly
School of Business and will graduate in 2005. She is
President of Sammy Jo Racing Inc, a
Bridgestone/Firestone tire dealer and provides expert
driver services to the automobile industry. |
