B Taylor Back
Amy B. Taylor, a
self-employed literary agent, filmmaker and
mother of two boys from Maple Valley,
Washington, has loved motorsports for as long as
she can remember. When she first dated husband,
Jon, twenty-plus years ago in her teens, she
helped in the pits with his motorcycle, as Jon
was a flat track racer.
Present day, she
owns not only Jon's stock car, but that of 2000
Season High Point Champion, Gary Sine, all of
them members of the Western Washington Racing
Association.

Amy crewed, along
with fellow 'racerchick' and friend, Renée
MacKenzie for the past 4 years, helping in
Sine's championship season, and assisting Jon
Taylor in placing in the top five.
Amy can be
counted on to not only feed the crowd, protest a
finish or car, and change a tire, but she also
organizes the Media Race the club hosts to
benefit local charities.
With racing as
one of her passions, it is only natural that Amy
would be working on a documentary of local stock
car racing. She hopes to have it completed
sometime in 2003.
