Janice Sansone Rick

Introduction: Janice has always been interested in sports cars. A five time National Champion in SCCA's Solo II, in five different classes, with five different cars proves just how much she loves driving a wide variety of performance cars.

She is not only a driver, but an organizer and teacher as well, and always willing to give others any help she can to see them succeed and enjoy the sport and the SCCA as much as she has since joining in 1979.

Current Season: In 2004 Janice will be campaigning a Mustang in the CPL class, sponsored by Krekeler Jewelers - Krek.com "Diamonds are Forever".

Racing Goals: Janice wants to be able to teach her granddaughter (Samantha Whitworth born July 2002) how much fun sport cars, autocrossing in Solo II, and the SCCA can be.

Personal: Janice is married to Mike Rick (her support in the pits), and races with her son, Dave Whitworth, her daughter-in-law Beth Whitworth and of course her newest racing buddy, Samantha.
