Hickory, N.C. (April 4,
2002) Alex Little Motorsports (ALM) have proven
they are a team to be reckoned with. Between
1994 and 1997, ALM won 30 feature victories, two
track championships, and two second place points
finishes.
ALM's first driver, Andy
Houston went on to drive in Craftsman Truck,
Busch Grand National, and Winston Cup. Marty
Houston won the 1997 track championship with ALM
and went on to the Busch series. Jason Jarrett
also started his career with ALM. Jarrett drove
in the Busch series in 2000, was the 2001 ARCA
Rookie of the Year and is a top contender for
this year's championship.
2002 finds a new driver
hanging their helmet in the ALM garage. A young
driver named Leilani Munter has come from the
west coast to join this championship team in
hopes of following in the footsteps of her
predecessors.
"I'm thrilled to have an
opportunity to work with ALM. We still have work
to do in the sponsorship department," said
Munter,"but with the knowledge and experience
that ALM brings to our race program, we are very
excited about the possibilities."It promises to
be an exciting year...
