Carrie
L. Miller
Carrie Miller is a mom of two (Taylor 11, Devon
7), runs her own business and races Mini Super
Truck. In 2002 plans to run the full MST season
at Altamont Raceway Park.
Both her mom and dad drove enduros at Baylands
Raceway Park. Carrie also worked at Petaluma
Raceway in High school. Staying involved in
racing she married Ray Miller in 1993. He built
and maintained cars and truck for many drivers
from Winston West, Southwest Tour to Vintage
Winston Cup. After asking many times to let her
drive “something” Ray and his Partner John
acquired a MST in 2001. They took her to
Altamont, strapped her in and let her go. It was
her first time driving on a track and she
couldn’t wait for the next. In 2001 Carrie
participated in a partial season, due to other
commitments. Still she won a heat race and had a
top 10 finish.
Starting the 2002 with a brand new truck. In the
first five races she has 1 top 5 finish, 3 top
10 and one heat race win. Ranking 7th in over
all points.
When she’s not racing, she is running Millers
Vinyl Graphics. Millers Vinyl Graphics was
started in 1996 after attending an automotive
trade show. Lettering their own race cars at
first there was a demand and the hobby turned
into a full time job. Millers Vinyl Graphics
does anything from vehicle lettering to race car
haulers. In 1998 including Embroidery machine
into the business she now embroiders hats and
uniforms to fire suits.
Look for her at the track handing out goodies
for the kids, and big kids too.
