Kathy
Kurtz
Kathy Kurtz is a U.S. Postal Service Clerk. She
has been racing for 11 years. At the age of 38, she shows no
signs of slowing down.
Kathy
began racing in micro sprint competition. She won her first
feature event at Trail-way Speedway. In 1999, she became Hill
Valley Speedway's Most Improved Driver.
By the year 2000, she was ready to make the
switch to midget cars. That same year, she became the American
Racing Drivers Club Dutch Schaeffer/Jiggs Peters Memorial
Rookie of the Year.
In 2001, she became the 2001 ARDC Most Improved
Driver.
Kathy has not set long term goals in racing.
Instead, she simply wants to race as long as she can. This
year her outlook is to drive smart, be patient and finish
well.
