Kim Hiskey
In 1998, Kim began her racing career in the Seattle area. A strong competitor in
SCCA, she quickly earned the Novice of the Year Award for the SCCA Northwest region. Kim continued to excel as she captured four regional SCCA titles and the Most Improved Driver of the Year award. In 1999, Kim began her professional career competing in the American Le Mans series.
The year 2000 proved to be busy for Kim as she teamed with acclaimed Porsche driver, Randy Pobst to run the inaugural Grand American Road Racing series schedule in her Crazy Redhead
Racing/Fordahl Motorpsorts Porsche 911 RSR. In addition to running the 10-event Grand-Am schedule, Kim competed with the Alex Job team in the ALMS and finished second in the GT1 class for the SCCA Oregon Region.
In the 2001 season Kim and Randy continue to prove to be a winning combination in the Grand-Am GT class. The duo started on the pole and took home the checkered flag at Phoenix and Road America and earned another pole and fourth-place finish at Mid-Ohio.
An inspiration to young women everywhere, Kim continues to be the only women car owner and driver in the Grand-Am series. Her win at the Sun Automotive 200 put her in the record books as the first female class winner in Grand-Am.
