Sarah
Franklin
Born in Leicester,
England in 1970, Sarah studied Law at De
Montfort University, qualifying as a Solicitor
in 1998. She is now a Partner in a firm in her
home town of Kettering, Northamptonshire.
After obtaining her race licence in March
2004, Sarah tested several single seater and
non-single seater cars. She also competed in
several Formula Ford races.
She then made her
successful national racing debut in October
2004 in the final three races of the 2004 AVO
Ginetta Championship with Reflex Racing at
Brands Hatch.
Sarah is now planning
to race in the full AVO Ginetta Championship
in 2005, although she is also being linked
with several GT championship race teams, not
least the new Cambridge Motorsport run MG SV
(pictured above at Rockingham).
Sarah’s aim is to be
the first successful British woman to compete
in the British GT Championship.
