Marcia Bristol
D.O.B: 12-18-1986
Car # 54
Hometown: Sharpsburg, Georgia
Type of Racecar: Bandolero
Year Began Racing: 2001
Main Racetracks: Senoia Speedway,
Senoia Georgia, and Atlanta Motor Speedway,
Atlanta Georgia
At only the age
of 14, Marcia began her racing career racing a
bandolero racecar at Senoia Speedway in Senoia
Georgia. In only her first year of racing in
2001, she was able to finish and clench a 4th
place finish in the points championship at
Senoia Speedway. Marcia gives the credit of
her racing career to her father. At the ages
of 11-14 she spent a lot of her time helping
her father and brother in there racing
careers. When I was watching my dad and
brother race, I got hooked. All I wanted to do
was race a car of my own. I was one of the
lucky ones to have this opportunity. As one of
the few female drivers who competes against
mostly all male competitors, I want other
women and girls to know that it is possible
and that dreams can come true. Marcia will
race bandoleros again in 2002, and in 2003
at age 16 will hopefully move up to the Pro
Late-Model division. A couple years of seat
time in Pro Late-Model will hopefully give me
enough of experience to move up to the
Southern-All Stars Asphalt Super Late-Model
Division. From there, who knows? Maybe ASA,
Nascar trucks, Bush, and even Winston Cup. For

NEWS:
SEPT 6, 2002 1st
career national points race win! It may have
took a year and a half but Marcia never gave
up and Friday night at Senoia Speedway in the
national points race, brought home her long
awaited victory. She started on the pole and
at the wave up the green flag, her and the
pole sitter raced side by side until she
pulled away and took the lead. She began
putting some distance on the pack while the
2nd and 3rd place car battled it out for
position. Marcia would continue to lead the
pack and bring home a 1st place victory
overall and 1st place for her division.
