BMC Air Filters is based in Bologna, Italy and has been in business for over 20 years. In 1995 BMC started producing air filters due to an inquiry concerning F1 air filters from the Ferrari F1 Team. Starting to manufacture air filters for street cars was easy for them after beginning with race car applications. Now BMC produces panel sport air filters, conical air filters, direct induction kits and carbon air boxes. BMC air filters are designed and produced by Italian engineers to be used in extreme conditions and to give you the highest level of performance.

BMC DROP-IN REPLACEMENT AIR FILTERS

BMC drop-in filters are designed and produced to ensure a higher airflow than original paper filters. In F1, for example, BMC cotton filters minimize the loss of airflow pressure passing through the air filter; this way ensures the best conditions for full exploitation of maximum power.

CARBON DYNAMIC AIR BOXES

The CDA filtering system is composed of a cylindrical carbon air box containing a washable filtering element. Substituting the original air box with our CDA, cold air is directly channeled through an internal airflow deflector to the filter and drawn into the engine with a very small pressure drop (patented system). BMC has dyno testing to prove that in an E36 BMW M3 the CDA produced an 18 HP gain over the stock paper filter!!!
