Whacky
Racers - the crazy side of Motorsports
I was told a
long time ago how to judge a good racer.
Seems when you start racing you must fill your
mouth with marbles and each time you finish
well or achieve a great pass or pit
stop, you are entitled to spit out a few. In
other words.... when you have "lost all
your marbles" you have become a truly
good racer.
From the deserts of North Africa to the
jungles of Indonesia, this video gives 35
minutes of the world of not necessarily good
racers but certainly a few that have lost
their marbles. So that theory is
shot. The desert racing motorcycles,
cars and yes.... even large trucks are amusing to
watch for the first few minutes but then it
gets old. The Camel Trophy race
in the deep jungle, is the same "get
stuck in the mud" quality and only until they show
some motorcycle hill climbs do you really
appreciate the talent some of these drivers
have -- driving through rocky terrain and rivers!. So much more
entertaining then the "Beach Race".
About 1200 motorcyclists racing towards a turn
where only 25 can pass through at a time.
Guess what happens next? I did enjoy the
American off road racing called "Dirty
Entertainment at its' Best" -- it
certainly was. The good news is this wasn't a
video bent on showing horrific crashes.
Only pride was hurt here.
Keep in mind
this video was released ten
years ago - but for a rainy or snowy afternoon
it may prove to be enjoyable. Maybe!
