LINDA POBST TO DRIVE FOR VICTORIA MOTORSPORTS

October 25, 2000, Victoria Motorsports announced today that Ms. Linda Pobst will pilot the #6 Trenton Forging/ Team Victoria Motorsports Chevrolet Camaro at the B F Goodrich Tires Trans Am season finale race in San Diego.

Ms. Pobst comes to the team having served for 4 years  on the Pace Car Team for Cart Indy cars. She was the first woman to win the  touring class of the IMSA Street Stock series and also ran the 24 hours of  Daytona and the 12 hours of Sebring in the GTS class. Linda has worked as a marketing representative for  major automobile and tire manufacturers, instructs at driving events, and  consults on product knowledge. "Frank and I are excited to give Linda an opportunity to showcase her driving talents" stated Team Owner June Cioppettini. Linda joins a diverse group of drivers that have participated in the Team Victoria  Motorsports program this year. (Stuart Hayner, Willy T. Ribbs, G.J. Mennen,  Frank Cioppettini, Bobby Sak and Brian Pelke have all driven under the  Victoria banner this season. ) Ms. Pobst is a graduate of both the Bondurant High  Performance School and the Skip Barber Racing School. She currently resides in Melbourne Florida.
