Starting
your racerchick early:
So
you settled down and started a family before
you had your big Formula One break.
Now as you look at junior you think
just maybe you can get the little one into
racing as much as you are…maybe even get
them to be a future racing star! How do you go
about it – well with some subliminal teddy
bears we’ve come across – how can you
resist?
The
Scuderia Ferrari Bear is by far the cutest
racer I’ve seen in a long time.
With its’ NOMEX looking race suit and
its’ Embroidered Ferrari paw – the little
one will soon be squeezing the Schumacher out
of it – so soft and so plush. “Scuda” bear can be found at dealerships and stores that
sell official Ferrari merchandise – you are
looking at around $50US
 The
Racerchick Yellow Bear as she is officially
named on her birth certificate is a product of
a relatively new store called Build A Bear –

While at the famous Newport Beach
Fashion Island Shopping complex, I
had a chance to build her from what you
can literally call "from scratch."
With over 25 stuffed critters, mostly
bears though, the hardest decision is choosing
which beast to stuff.
Next it’s off to decide if we want
out bear to speak or sing.
I choose the famous “Teddy Bear’s
Picnic” but phrases like “I Love You”
and “Happy Birthday” are two of the
favorites.
You can also record your own sound.
I did think of how musical the V-12 of
the 365GTB4 would be – but alas none in
sight. The
bear is then stuffed, stitched and fluffed
(after of course it’s heart is placed inside
and your wish is made – but that’s a
different story) The race suit is just one of
many clothing options and accessories
available and dressing tables are provided.
Next it’s off to name my racerchicks
bear and create the birth certificate. In total I spent about half an hour in this store –
enjoying the great atmosphere and sales staff.
Total price for my bear around $50US
also – but the experience was priceless.
