Romance - a day at the track

What a busy week - Here we come off of a great race weekend at Mosport( the local track) and we have some personal track time too. First off - A BIG THANK YOU to Black Dog Racing, Tony Gaples the driver - they helped me raise some money for the local children's hospital's cancer unit www.rallyforkids.com - please sponsor ME. Next we have an AMAZING time at the BRIDGESTONE RACING ACADEMY with their new Van Diemen race cars - WOW - what a thrill. Tonight though was the grand openign of the local Ferrai dealership. WHile I did NOT wion the lottery the night before that was a measley 45 million - hence I couldn;t really SHOP there. BUT....never-the-less it was an impressive building - impressive group and of course - IMPRESSIVE CARS. While there I thought about the people I have been honored to meet in regards to racing.....love to hear your stories! Let me give you a few people - Paul Newman, Guiseppe Risi.....Mario Andretti....JANET GUTHRIE...I'll write about WHY and HOW I think them worthy of my GREAT PEOPLE IN RACING
