2009 ACURA TSX REVEALED
Will Feature
Advancements in Performance,
Styling, Technology and Safety
TORONTO (February 12, 2008) – Acura Canada
has announced that the all-new 2009 Acura
TSX sports sedan will debut at the 2008 New
York International Auto Show. In advance of
its debut, an exterior photo of the new
model has been released. Scheduled to go
on-sale later this year, the 2009 Acura TSX
will be the second generation of this
popular Acura performance sedan and will
feature numerous advancements in
performance, styling, technology and safety.
"The new 2009 TSX highlights the design
direction of Acura’s sedans," said Jim
Miller, executive vice president, Honda
Canada Inc, "The TSX is an important next
step in the advancement of our sedan lineup
and in the continued enhancement of the
Acura brand."
Acura unveiled the redesigned 2009 RL luxury
sedan at the Chicago Auto Show last week and
also announced the company will introduce
an-all new TL sports-performance sedan later
this year.
The 2009 Acura TSX will be introduced during
the New York International Auto Show media
days which take place on March 19 and 20.
Acura is the luxury-performance division of
Honda Canada Inc. Six distinct vehicles
(CSX, TSX, RDX, TL, RL and MDX) are marketed
under the Acura brand. Both the Acura CSX
luxury compact sedan and the MDX luxury
sport utility vehicle are produced at the
Honda of Canada Mfg. facility in Alliston,
Ontario.
